Make Your Own Kind of Music

I live in a 1,300 square foot home.

In a city that's 64 square miles.

In a country that's 3.98 million square miles.

On a planet that's 196,900,000 square miles.

Fourth to the smallest planet in a solar system of 8.

A solar system that is a mere dot in a galaxy aboout 100,000 light years across.

A galaxy that is but a grain of sand in the Universe.

I am nothing and I am everything.

I am inconsequential and special at the same time.

I am both immaterial and significant all at once.

I matter, and I do not.

Time and the air in my lungs are really all I've got.

To make my own kind of music and dance to it until both run out.

"Nobody can tell you
There's only one song worth singing
They may try and sell you
Cause it hangs them up to see someone like you

But you gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along"

- Cass Elliot
